memoir ideas

1. When I was 13 I was greatly affected by the purposeful outing of CIA agent Valerie Plame by our own government. This was significant to what I've become because I never looked at things like "government" and "honor" the same way again.

2. A few years ago I decided to sneak into the Woodstock grounds when I went to see the museum. This was a very memorable and magical moment for me although it did not exactly change me very much.

3. When I was 16, two kids in my neighborhood played a sick joke on me making me think I had hit one of them with my car. Once again, this did'nt shape who I am today, but it's one of those instances that is rather hard to forget.

    i'm personally fascinated with woodstock so i would be very interested to know more about how it felt to be there. however, i'm not sure it's relevant to this assignment since it didn't really change you. maybe you can think of a way it affected you, or pick the topic you're most passionate about. i'm very jealous though!

    i agree, i think the woodstock story would be rather interesting but i think the first option fits the assignment more

    I think from what we discussed that you're probably going to write about the first one, and that's fine. You have a good chance to discuss current events along with incorporatng strong descriptive elements here so go ahead!
